Q:
What type of blinds would be good for a humid bathroom? Would any of the pleated or cellular blinds work?
A:
Cellular shades are always a good choice for bathroom, they can with stand the humidity and the moisture, they are easy to clean and will retain their pleats. They are also a popular option because they have the top down bottom up option. This allows the window shades to be lowered to let light in while still giving privacy.

Another good choice for bathroom blinds are faux wood blinds. They are made from PVC which holds up well in humidity and moisture.

Window treatments such as wood blinds are not recommended in bathrooms or other high humid areas. Although wood blinds are treated by either paint or stains, finishes will eventually break down over time when subjected to high moisture.
