What types of wood blinds do you recommend for windows that are exposed regularly to humidity?

When wood is exposed to moisture over time it can warp and crack if not protected. Even when wood is properly treated, moisture can eventually break down stains and paints. All of our wood blinds are treated with either a stain or a paint and will resist moderate amounts of moisture.

If your window is in an area of high humidity or moisture such as a kitchen sink or in a bathroom you may want to consider faux wood blinds. Faux wood blinds are made to look like real wood blinds but the wooden slats are made from vinyl or pvc materials. The vinyl slats can even be made to look light real wood stains. These materials are made to hold up in areas of high moisture and are perfect for bathroom blinds.
