Q:
One of the strings that raise and lower the wood blinds has come out of the "pull". How do I get the string back through the wood knob again? Does the "Pull" slide open or hinge open?
A:
Fixing the wood blinds pull is simple. Most knobs at the end of the wood blinds lift cord are attached using a knot at the end of the cord. If the cord still has a knot, remove the knot from the lift cord. Next, thread the cord through the knob. Tie a small knot just at the end of the cord. The pull will then rest on the knot. You may need to tie a double knot or a larger knot if the pull continues to come off the end of the cord.
