Minumum Depth for Mounting Cell Shades

I just ordered two sidelight cellular shades called the Premier 7/16" translucent single cell shades. I wanted to be sure that the shallow mount will work: I have a 7/8" depth for mounting. Is that OK?

According to the manufacturer, you will need a minimum of 1 1/2 inches to mount the Premier 7/16" translucent single cell shades as an inside mount. This will however have a portion of the cell shades extending outside of the window frame. For a flush mount, meaning the cell shades will be completely within the window frame, you will need at least 2 1/4 inches of window frame depth.
